Happy New Year!

4 Jan

Here’s my, albeit belatedly, first post of 2012 – huzzah!

Apologies for the lack of activity here of late, but employment woes took the back seat over the festive period as there was much feasting, drinking and general merry-making to be done!

So what are the plans for the next 12 months then?

In no particular order:

* Get a job that doesn’t involve so much fancy dress. I’m up for a bit of fun, particularly for charity, but there’s only so much abuse you can take from customers when dressed as an elf.

Festive fun: spare a thought for the little guys

* Pursue my journalism ambitions.

* Have a go at some freelance work. Emphasis not so much on the free.

* Spend more time with family and friends.

* Make more time to read and knit.

What resolutions have you come up with for the new year? Personally I like the way this kitty thinks….

I’d like to wish my readers/followers a very happy and successful year. Let’s see what 2012 bring us!
